Description

 
  BARRIERTA L 55/0/1/2/3 make up a synthetic high-temperature lubricating grease series based on perfluorinated polyether oil and PTFE. It can be used fortemperatures up to 260 °C. The low evaporation rate ensures a longservice life and long relubrication intervals.

   Due to special additives the BARRIERTA L 55 products are almost neutral towards most
elastomers and plastics and particularly compatible with FKM materials.

   BARRIERTA L 55 lubricants are resistant to chemicals and aggressive media such as concentrated acids,alkaline solutions and organic solvents (except for fluorinated hydrocarbon solvents,strong bases, earth/alkali metals and Lewis acids). This product series meets the requirements set forth in the Guidelines of Sec. 21 CFR 178.3570 of FDA regulations and is certified acc.to NSF H1.

 Application
  BARRIERTA L 55/0 and BARRIERTA L 55/1 are especially suitable for relubrication of load rollers, turn rollers and chain wheel bearings in conveyors and rolling bearings subject to high loads which were initially lubricated with BARRIERTA L 55/2 or BARRIERTA L 55/3. Furthermore, BARRIERTA L 55/1 can also be used for the relubrication of grease-lubricated fabric conveyor chains in textile machinery.

 Minimum shelf life
  The minimum shelf life is approx.60 months if the product is stored in the original closed container in a dry place.
